FDA rotation offers unique experience for Baytown student
Baytown student Andrew Himsel, a fourth year pharmacy student at Texas A&M Health Science Center Irma Lerma Rangel College of Pharmacy, completed an FDA rotation. He worked in the Office of Drug Information on the President's Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief project and attended lectures at multiple divisions, gaining insight into drug regulation and post marketing surveillance. The program, open nationwide, is highly competitive and accommodates 10 to 15 students every five to six weeks.
