Regents Schedule Closed Open Sessions
LC regents will meet in closed session at 6 15 p m Thursday to discuss personnel and will begin the regular open meeting at 7 p m to take action on budget amendments, faculty contracts and bids A list of 56 faculty personnel with three year contracts will be submitted to the board for approval of advancement on the college salary scale. The board will also review a list of 32 faculty personnel on contracts of less than three years for one year extensions on their Present contracts and advance ment on the salary scale. Regents are also expected to receive bids for the sale of a 1972 model showl bus Bids on the bus were sent to 38 prospective bidders and four bids were opened. Bids for TV Electronic Equipment are expected to be considered by regents one on general components units and one on Specific functions units. Mrs Bettie Bennett fiscal affairs director is recommending bids totaling 8800 for the budgeted equipment. In other board action faculty resignations are expected to be considered and payment of bills will be discussed.
