The last major part of Interstate 10 between Houston and San Antonio is open to traffic with only a small section near Downtown Houston pending completion. The project involved 38 construction contracts totaling about 46 million dollars in the Texas Highway Department’s Yoakum district, with funding from federal and state sources.
