Delta Chemical Services expands to Baytown with Cedar Crossing facility
Delta Chemical Services, a leading lubricant and chemical storage firm, plans a 62 000 square foot Baytown warehouse on Cedar Boulevard in Cedar Crossing. The site will store but not process chemicals, creating six to eight local jobs and boosting Deer Park roots through community involvement. The move follows the company’s 1998 start in Deer Park and expansion to three additional branches, with Greif Inc. completing its purchase in 2006. The Economic Development Foundation aided the project, promising a positive impact on Baytown’s business landscape.
