Anahuac Chamber Plans March 22 Awards Banquet
The Anahuac Area Chamber of Commerce will host its Annual Awards Banquet on Thursday March 22 at White's Park. Honorees include Sarah Cerrone as Person of the Year Bayside Community Hospital as Business of the Year and Chambers County Historical Commission as Group of the Year. Proceeds fund civic projects. Tickets are 25 dollars, tables of ten 200, with advance sales at local banks and the chamber office. Social silent and live auctions will feature an alligator hunt trip and Astros tickets among other items. The Mardi Gras themed dinner, Cajun fried shrimp okra and tomatoes Cajun dirty rice and King Cake for dessert. Comedian Cherie Kay will perform a magic show and stand-up act.
