Sultis Stadium Renamed After Athletic Director in Baytown
Goose Creek ISD Superintendent Dr. Toby York celebrates renovations at Memorial Sports Complex and honors veterans. The complex naming reflects Memorial Stadium tribute to 59 Robert E. Lee students who died in World War II, later renamed Sultis Stadium in 2002 for Pete Sultis, long-time athletic director. Herrington Field honors baseball coach Gary Herrington. Ganders memories mark Baytown Lee football history with 500 plus wins and playoff runs.
