Rash Of Weekend Crashes Reported In Baytown Area
Accidents plagued the Baytown area over the weekend with five of the six victims from out of town. The most seriously injured were Mr. and Mrs. A. E. Meyka of Liberty now at San Jacinto Memorial hospital. Their condition was reported good Monday morning. The couple were in a 3 pm Sunday crash at the Crosby Lynchburg road and US 90 intersection, a head on collision. Algy E. Childress and wife of DeQuincy Louisiana were taken to Daytona hospital. Mrs Meyke suffered facial and scalp lacerations.
