Sterling Lady Rangers Rout Port Arthur Memorial In Quick Win
Sterling improved to 11-1 overall and 3-0 in District 22-5A with a 17-0 softball victory over Port Arthur Memorial that ended after 2 1/2 innings. Sterling sent 10 runs in the first and seven in the second, capitalizing on Memorial’s six first inning errors. Malpass struck out seven in a dominant two innings, while Robinson, Boatright, Smith, and Malpass led with two hits each. Sterling returns home Friday at 6 p.m. against Kingwood.
