Millennium retirees face limited Medicare aid change
Beginning April 1, Millennium will offer 10 Medigap plans from AARP underwritten by United HealthCare, with a $50 monthly subsidy only for the three most expensive plans. Retirees and eligible spouses receive the subsidy for one year, then must pay full premiums. many retirees oppose the shift from prior subsidies and prescription drug coverage. Millennium cites financial strain and plans consolidation as reasons, while retirees fear high costs and loss of drug coverage.
