Goose Creek approves across-the-board raise for staff
Goose Creek ISD board approves a 3.5 percent districtwide raise next year based on a midpoint salary system from the Texas Association of School Boards. Most teachers will receive a $1,500 raise, with adjustments by years of service. some veteran staff may gain $200 to $600 more, others may get less or nothing. The proposal costs about $3.7 million and relies on a tax-base increase of just over $3 million.
