Fathers Funeral and Family Notices from Baytown

Funeral arrangements are pending. MRS KATHRYN Rogers first grade teacher at Lynchburg Elementary attended a four day reading seminar in Oklahoma City conducted by The Economy Co. Baytown Rough Riders Club will hold a watermelon party at 6 p.m. Sunday at the Baytown Fair Grounds with each member bringing a watermelon.

77 Baytown youths gain jobs through mayoral program

Absentee Voting On Flood Bonds Starts Monday

Absentee voting in the 21.5 million Harris County flood control bond issue election set for July 15 begins Monday and runs to July 11. Voting will occur in the County Clerk R. R. Turrentine's office on the second floor of the Criminal Courts building in Houston. The election costs total about 64,537.50 for judges clerks supplies and voting machines. Eligible voters must be registered and own property on the rendered tax rolls.

Crosby Resident Injured In Crash

Irma Jean Richard of 211 Acadia Crosby suffered minor injuries in a two car wreck at 8 24 a m Friday at Decker Drive and Wade Road. She was a passenger in a car driven by Isabella Richard of 211 Acadia Crosby. The other car was driven by Sandra Lynn King of 609 Littlewood.
