Baytown moves forward with eight screen theater at Chambers Town Center
Baytown approves a Chapter 380 amendment to boost incentives for an eight or larger screen movie theater at 146 and I-10. The deal increases eligible sales tax reimbursement from 2.5 million to 3.5 million and raises the annual city rebate starting threshold from 300 thousand to 325 thousand, with funds rebated to NewQuest Properties over a 10 year term.

Hats Off honor for RSS special education awardee Ann Reilly
Ann Reilly of Ross S. Sterling received the James Becker Thomson Award for Excellence in Special Education at a Hats Off celebration honoring Goose Creek CISD district and campus teachers of the year and GCCISD retirees.
