Astros place Lance McCullers on 10-day DL with back issue
Houston Astros right-hander Lance McCullers was placed on the 10-day disabled list for a back problem retroactive to June 9. GM Jeff Luhnow said a long absence is not expected, with no timetable given. McCullers is 6-1 with a 2.58 ERA in 13 starts this season while Dallas Keuchel and Charlie Morton are also on the DL. Joe Musgrove returned from the DL to start versus Texas.
