Battleship Texas seals leaks as aging warship fights decay

Pirates Bay tops one million visitors milestone
Pirates Bay Water Park welcomed its 1 millionth guest Monday as Aqua Loop and Aqua Drop additions raised capacity. Aquatics Director Mike Flinn and Parks Director Scott Johnson praised the milestone, noting the park has averaged about 143,000 visitors annually since opening in 2010. Dennis Villatoro, 9, received a season pass and commemorative items.

The United Way of Greater Baytown Area and Chambers County launches a book drive for its Free Little Libraries. Volunteers in Highlands Baytown and Chambers County collect new or gently used children's books through June 23 to support literacy.
