Lifelong Baytown Resident Dennis McLean Dies at 40
Funeral services for Dennis Murdoch McLean aged 40, lifelong Baytown resident and former rice farmer, were scheduled for 2 p.m. Thursday at Paul A. Lee Chapel. Born near Cedar Bayou in June 1889 he witnessed Baytown’s growth, worked in Humb le Oil refinery, then farmed rice after retirement. Survivors include his wife Elizabeth Donnelly McLean, a son Rev L W McLean, two brothers and two sisters, plus eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren. The Rev Vincent Roccafort would officiate, with burial at Cedar Crest Cemetery.
