Optimist event frees kids with cancer for a day of fun
Baytown Optimist Club hosts a day for about 55 families at East Side Honda in Baytown. Kids, many under 10, enjoy boat rides and the pavilion while teens share survival stories. 10th Bayou Bowl brings Texas and Louisiana teams to Stallworth Stadium
The 10th Bayou Bowl pits the Texas All-Stars against the Louisiana All-Stars at 7 p.m. Saturday June 16 at Stallworth Stadium. Texas leads series 5-4 after recent wins and losses dating to 2003.
