Beach City eyes CenterPoint franchise deal and rate freeze
Beach City Council weighs a tentative franchise agreement with CenterPoint Energy as part of a coalition action with Baytown and others accusing the company of possible excess revenues. Barbers Hill school officials and Mont Belvieu city leaders pause approval of a district electronic sign while crafting language on usage and hours.
