Baytown man charged with impersonating DA
A Baytown man, 54, is charged with impersonating a public servant for offering a defendant a deal in exchange for cash while falsely claiming to be an assistant district attorney. He is held on a $50,000 bond and also faces counts of making false statements and using fake ID to try to buy a Bentley valued at $125,000. It remains unclear whether he possessed the car.

Eastpoint burglars nabbed after late chase
A tip led Baytown police to arrest two teens after a midnight chase in Eastpoint subdivision.
