Chamblin Surrenders After Triple Homicide in Baytown Home

Chamblin, 49, a ExxonMobil Baytown plant employee, surrendered after a three hour standoff following an 11 00 a m call reporting shots fired. Police found his wife Laura 49 and daughter Marie 22 dead in the Lakewood home along with the family's dogs. He described killing his daughter in the kitchen and his wife in the backyard and dragging her body inside, with no clear motive given. Three handguns and several rifles were recovered in the living room. His son Jared 24 said there was no apparent motive.
