Barbers Hill pitcher Burditt rises to top No 1 status
Stalbaum recalls the 2009 shift after injuries left Burditt behind as a substitute. Burditt then shined at the Ewell Jackson tournament, emerged as the Eagles’ No 1 pitcher, finished 6-3 with a 2.03 ERA and 65 2/3 innings, and earned all district honors plus an All-Star nod. He credits teammates and coachable mechanics from Colton Pitkin for his growth. Now headed to junior college, he’s described as a hard worker with strong upside.
