Mont Belvieu police answered six traffic cases and investigated disturbances from July 9 to 15. A 34-year-old Dayton man and a 34-year-old Crosby woman were cited on July 9, plus a 19-year-old Mont Belvieu woman and a 35-year-old Houston man on July 9 and 10 for various traffic violations. A Huffman woman was arrested for noise violations and a Mont Belvieu woman for riding an ATV on Highway 146. An additional Mont Belvieu resident faced a probation warrant, and a 1996 Chevy extended cab with a welding rig was stolen from Hatcherville Road. Shingles valued at $1,000 were stolen from a construction site. The grass trimmer was recovered after its theft was reviewed on security video.
