Market climbs on upbeat earnings and inflation data
Stocks rose as strong earnings and easing inflation lifted sentiment. The S&P 500 hit a four year high at 1,226.50 while the Nasdaq and Dow posted gains. June CPI was flat, core inflation up 0.1 percent, and Apple reported record earnings aiding the rally. Oil fell after IEA forecasts weaker demand.
