Baytown Tow Policy Faces Heated Debate On Fees
Baytown City Council Tow Truck Committee approves a policy change but operators push for a $135 flat rate citywide. Graham Towing's Robert Kelly argues the $105-65-15 framework still leaves room to be competitive, citing a 1996 rate. Committee chair McRee disagrees on several points. The plan raises flat fees to $105 with $65 for secondary tows and $15 daily storage. See TOWING on Page 10A.
