Bayshore Club Hosts 30th Fish Fry At Cedar Bayou
Bayshore Rod Reel and Gun Club held its 30th annual fish fry at Brunson Park near Cedar Bayou. About 2,800 attendees enjoyed prizes including $500 cash won by J. D. Approximately 100 out of town guests are expected for a regional junior chamber of commerce meeting Tuesday night at Holiday Inn. Regional Vice President Chuck Doyle of Texas City and Baytown JCs president Jim Ainsworth will attend, with visitors from Texas City Port Arthur Beaumont Houston Channelview Orange Pasadena and Clear Lake City. The 7:30 p.m. session will discuss the new Jaycee Region 6E of which Baytown is a part.

Tax reappraisal updates underway in city
Seaborn Cravey emphasized Monday that current revaluations are being made across nearly all properties due to updating of tax values under the reappraisal program led by C M L Coa, head of the appraisal department.
