Chambers County school survey on consolidation offered
Copies of a Chambers County school survey by three University of Houston researchers are available at the office of W C Underwood superintendent Barbers Hill schools for study by patrons. The study recommends consolidating four districts and creating a junior college district. Trustees from the four districts discussed the survey in Anahuac last Thursday with no decisions, planning a September 7 meeting. Copies may be obtained at the offices of Barbers Hill Anahuac East Chambers and Pine Island districts for distribution to patrons and study with neighbors.
