Baytown Men Charged After Bayou Camp Raid
Harris County deputies raided the Shady Park recreation camp on Cedar Bayou near 5218 Bayou Blvd. Two Baytown area men, Bobby Emmett Doran 23 and Gene Autry Evans 27, were charged with felony possession of marijuana. Twenty seven others faced vagrancy counts. most pleaded guilty and were fined. Evans faced additional charges of aggravated assault and prior marijuana possession. The camp owner was identified as Mrs. Leah Miller. no charges against her or John Fontenot were filed.
