Missing Baytown teen Morgan Hernandez found safe

Standoff Ends With Suspect Shot in Baytown
A 20 year old Baytown man Amel Armando Garza Jr. with a criminal history turned a domestic dispute into a standoff when he brought a gun into the confrontation on Cypress Street. Garza, well known to Baytown police, sustained a serious gunshot injury after a long standoff that began with an argument with his girlfriend. The incident unfolded in the 1300 block and police cited ongoing tensions as the night wore on. See standoff page 8.

Fire destroys trailer. body found in Baytown murder case
