Two-Parter confessing a media mix up about Perry Simmons
In a self-deprecating column, the author admits a mistake about Perry Simmons and the Tower Restaurant. He clarifies Perry did not own the Tower, which was owned by Emmett Hutto, notes Perry’s past roles at the Ramada Inn and Blue Arrow Café, and laments the mix up while praising Perry’s broader ties to local dining venues.
