Beaumont native Vance elected County District Attorney
The county selects a vigorous pro prosecutor and qualified man to the post. Vance, an eight year assistant DA with two years as DA, cites experience handling daily challenges. A 1952 Lamar High School graduate, he earned a UT BBA in 1955 and a 1958 law degree.
