Two Sterling Students to Attend Leadership Meet

Sterling High School will send two DE delegates and two contestants to the Area Leadership Conference at South Houston High School Pasadena on Saturday. Steve Morgan and Alan McWhorter compete in Job Interview and Sales Demonstration events. Kenneth Bashrum and Robert Twardowsk i attend as delegates. Over 300 student contestants and sponsors from eastern Texas participate. Harris County schools add 240 delegates and 1,500 DE students. Admission is 2 dollars for all. Twelve finalists in each major contest will go to the State Conference in Dallas March 3 and 4. The Outstanding Distributive Education Boy and Girl will be named Texas-wide finalists.
