Lone Star College Shooting Leaves Three Hurt
An altercation between two men at Lone Star College North Harris Campus led to gunfire near 1 p.m. Tuesday. The two men were injured and hospitalized. A maintenance worker was hit by a stray bullet and treated in stable condition. A female staffer suffered a medical issue not related to the shooting.

Kilgore Parkway drainage plan eyed as regional project
Chambers County leaders consider expanding drainage for the Kilgore Parkway project to include nearby industrial areas and the Country Meadows subdivision. Engineers discussed adding land north of Needlepoint Road and a regional detention pond to aid current neighborhoods and future development east of Highway 146 and south of Needlepoint Road.
