Capital Bank History and Growth Timeline

Capital Bank traces roots to Jacinto City with charter as Jacinto City Bank in June 1965. It was purchased by the Austin family in September 1978, growing assets from 29.7 million to 251.3 million by December 2010. The location at 10304 I-10 East was remodeled in 1982 with 1985 additions, and the name changed to Capital Bank in May 1985. Since then five new centers opened in Pearland Pasadena Baytown West Pearland and Deer Park.
