Four Deaths Attributed To Weather Conditions
Dense fog blanketed southern Texas halting air travel and causing multiple crashes. Four fatalities were reported as visibility dropped to near zero in Houston and along U S highways near San Antonio Weimar and adjacent ports. Houston Firm Gets New Barbers Hill School Job
Barbers Hill School Board unanimously awarded the contract for the new Barbers Hill High School to P. G. Bell Co. of Houston at $1,464,500, with construction starting February and a 1968 April completion target. The 450 to 1,000 student facility includes auditorium, cafeteria, gym, labs, library, and air conditioning, plus a football stadium and track.
