Girl Scouts Campout Reports From Channelview Troop 1491
Channelview girl scouts from Troop 1491 left Old River Terrace Methodist Church with bed rolls and sack lunches for a weekend campout at Camp Arnold near Conroe. They cooked on a buddy burner, studied conservation and nature, and performed an Indian ceremony around the campfire. Leaders Mrs. Hannan and Mrs. Cannon oversaw the trip with helpers.
