A Christmas Story Reverie and Shared Memories
A Baytown Sun reader reflects on the 1980s film A Christmas Story and its enduring pull during holidays. The piece links Ralphie’s wish for a Red Ryder BB gun to family scenes, motherly care, laundry soap nostalgia, and newsroom conversations sparked by Fred Hornberger sharing the video. Wanda Orton notes her editorial ties to the film.
