City Bonds Sale Moves Ahead After Court Ruling
Judge William Holland refused a temporary injunction delaying the 11.6 million capital improvements bond sale. City officials say market conditions are favorable and aim to proceed, arguing procedures followed the charter and damages from delay could be substantial. The suit by Texas Federation of Independent Businessmen and Taxpayers questions the mayor’s signature on the bond election ordinance and seeks to halt sale.
