Guard opens fire in government building killing four
In Washington a guard at a government building shot four people, killing three and himself. The victims include John Pledger, a 40 year old security officer, and Zelma Pledger, 32, in an incident near Constitution Avenue and 18th Street. An Annapolis couple, Dr. Monroe Gregory, 60, and others were wounded. Police say the attack began about 9 am in a temporary building behind the Navy complex.
