Guitars stolen from Baytown mall parking during Chili event
Police report two guitars were stolen from a vehicle parked at San Jacinto Mall during a chili cook off. A red Fender Stratocaster valued at 1700 and a natural wood Fender Acoustic valued at 500 were taken between 5 p.m. and 11:45 p.m. Friday. No suspects.

Texas AG recovers 36 million in Medicaid fraud settlements
Texas Attorney General Greg Abbott announced settlements with Pfizer Inc and Endo Pharmaceuticals recovering 18.17 million from each for misreporting drug prices to Medicaid. The combined 36.34 million, plus legal costs, funds and the federal share, result from overpayments to pharmacies due to inflated reimbursements. Ven-A-Care of the Florida Keys initiated the action as whistleblower and is entitled to a share under the Texas Medicaid Fraud Prevention Act.
