San Jacinto Stuns Sterling In OT To Stay Undefeated
San Jacinto junior varsity edged Sterling 70 69 in overtime after a back and forth game. Rey Ortega led San Jacinto with 15 points and hit the decisive jumper in the closing seconds. Sterling’s Johnny Coleman paced the Rangers with 23 points, while Ron Garrett added as many. The Bears improved to 20 wins with no losses, rallying from a late deficit to force OT and seal the win.
