Two masked men bound four Baytown Pearl Beer Distributing Co employees and fled with the cash and jewelry after a heist on Interstate 10. Deputies Watson and Pickard were wounded in a gun battle during pursuit. Pickard in hospital with shoulder and leg injuries, Watson in hospital with a forehead wound. Suspects identified as James Lon Sheemake, John Frank Ramos, and Jimmie Davidson.
