Bayway Drive May Join County Bond Plan
Wooster Chamber of Commerce members and County Commissioner Ramsey debated placing Bayway Drive improvement in a county bond issue rather than Baytown’s city plan. The group favored county participation, noting Bayway would stretch city resources and might be funded better in a county election. The bond package totals about 9.15 million for streets drainage water sewer parks and other projects with a February voting date.
