Fireplace blamed for blaze at Crosby Cedar Bayou Road home
Unattended fireplace is believed to have caused a Friday morning fire that destroyed the Lee Ditta residence at 5430 Crosby Cedar Bayou Road in Capt. Bernard Olive's report. The two story frame house burned to the ground save for one wall. McNair volunteers and Baytown units aided water supply due to no local hydrants.
