Class action status granted in Ford radiator case
A Texas judge granted class action status to a suit alleging Ford Motor Co failed to install upgraded radiators in F 150 trucks with certain options. About 80,000 Texans claim they were charged for packages not received, while nationwide counts include 450,000 F 150 owners in Illinois. Plaintiffs say buyers paid around 350 to 400 for option bundles featuring radiator upgrades that were never installed. Ford offered cash or certificates or radiator replacement, and a brochure warned cash would waive other options.
