The Baytown Sun reports the annual Goodfellows Christmas party closed with a 218.27 surplus added to the reserve fund from the 1941 Gander Football dinner. Expenses were toys candy and fruit. promoters credited many volunteers especially Dorothy Saunders Rufus Honeycutt and Howard Brunsort for raising 335. Bob Matherine started the tradition in 1921 and is thanked along with all donors for making the drive easy and successful.
