Suspect in Baytown slaying faces charges in Louisiana
Allen St Brice of Baytown faces extradition to Harris County for the double murder of Susanna Branch a Ross S Sterling graduate and her boyfriend Sherman Charles both respiratory therapists. Branch was found dead at her Calamus Circle home on February 12. Charles died at Memorial Hermann Hospital after Life Flight transport. Branch and Charles had two sons not harmed. St Brice fled after a traffic stop and police pursued him past Whiskey Bay while he reportedly discarded the murder weapon. He remains jailed in Louisiana on evading arrest with a $150 000 bond awaiting extradition.

Lee College to open McNair career center with cosmetology programs

Gator Ride funds aid Baytown YMCA youth programs
The annual event routes riders past landmarks including the Fred Hartman Bridge and San Jacinto Monument for a 33 mile main loop and an 8 mile family ride. Registration runs Friday 4 to 7 pm and Saturday morning with fees 30 to 35 dollars. family ride costs 20 for one parent plus 10 for a second child free for kids.
