Drag racing fans gear up as Dragpalooza IV roars into Houston Raceway Park near Baytown in a few weeks, kicking off the season with fast cars and high speed runs.

Memorial Baptist Church in Baytown celebrated its 90th anniversary drawing nearly 1,000 attendees. Smoke joins BREAKS owner Mary Flores in renovating the old Greer Florist building, with students traveling from Galveston for lessons, seeking the MTV Made opportunity.
The annual powder puff game featured seniors and juniors from Gander High in a spirited clash with the seniors narrowly winning 14 to 13. Coaches rallied teams as supporters donated to Project Graduation, set for May 31 to ensure a drug and alcohol free celebration for graduates.
