Anna Nicole Smith death sparks endless media din
A writer vents at length about Anna Nicole Smith's death and the nonstop coverage. He notes the frenzy over her passing at 39, the obsession with her life and alleged father, and the mispronunciations and spectacle by networks and local stations. He also compares public attention to other famous figures and laments journalism’s role.
