Boy on bicycle struck by car in street crash
Ten year old Michael Skipper on East March and North First was hit by a northbound car driven by William Bradshaw 24 of 18 Price. The bike flew onto the car hood and Mike suffered a bruised hip lacers and abrasions on his left arm and a small head gash. No charges were filed. Jerry Meigs witnessed the collision and alerted his mother and Michael’s mother. The driver said shrubbery hid the view and he skidded 50 feet trying to avoid the boy.

Highlands crash leaves three injured after high speed spill
Three Highlands residents were hurled from a car when it overturned at 90 mph near Four Corners on Wednesday. Charles Barham 19 and Mrs Gladys Stephens suffered skull fractures and other injuries, with Stephens also having a broken pelvis. Travis O Neal 27 had multiple spinal fractures and head injuries and remains unconscious. Barham still at San Jacinto Memorial hospital with a severe ear injury. Stephens transferred to Jefferson Davis hospital after X rays showed severe injuries. The car rolled 910 feet before stopping in a ditch.

Deer Park Marshal Seeks Fire Bomb Suspect
