The IRS and AARP Tax-Aide return to three libraries to aid seniors and low to moderate income filers with free tax help through April 14. Locations include Sterling Municipal Library Baytown Tuesdays and Thursdays noon to 4, Stratford Library Highlands Tuesdays 10 to 3, and North Channel Branch Harris County Library Thursdays noon to 4. Bring Social Security cards, last year’s return, W-2s, 1099s, 1095-A, IDs, and health coverage info. The healthcare penalty for uninsured individuals rises to about 695 in 2016.
