Baytown backs red light cameras amid lawsuits
Baytown will continue using red light cameras with support from a Texas DPS opinion and a statewide study. The 58 page analysis by the Crash Analysis Program and Texas Transportation Institute notes a 30 percent overall drop in crashes, including a 43 percent fall in right angle collisions and a 63.4 percent decrease at Garth Road and West Baker.

Baytown approves tow fee hike for greater flexibility
